Friends of Island Academy was started to help young people ages 16 to 21 rebuild their lives after incarceration or probation.  We work in the neighborhoods where our youth members live and support young people every step of the way as they overcome obstacles.  It can be hard to get started again, but we’ll stick by you.

• Get a job or internship
• Stay healthy in body and mind
• Participate in the arts or join a basketball league
• Be active in your community
